On October 23, 2025, Neax, in collaboration with Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, successfully hosted the Hexagon Design & Engineering User Conference 2025 at Vissai Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
The event brought together hundreds of participants, including corporate representatives, design and simulation engineers, and technical managers from diverse industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive, mold and die manufacturing, and supporting industries.
Under the theme “AI-driven Simulation – Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Engineering Design,” the conference offered fresh perspectives on how AI is reshaping the way engineers design, simulate, and optimize production processes, enabling enterprises to shorten product development cycles, reduce costs, and improve accuracy in technical analysis.
The conference featured a series of in-depth presentations and discussions led by experts from Hexagon and Neax, focusing on the latest trends and real-world applications of AI in simulation:
Live demonstrations of Cradle CFD, Simufact, and FTI provided attendees with hands-on experiences, illustrating how advanced simulation tools combined with artificial intelligence can help solve complex manufacturing optimization challenges.
Expert Speakers and Knowledge Sharing
The conference was honored to welcome leading experts in engineering simulation, who not only shared their deep technical insights but also presented real-world case studies from Southeast Asia, showcasing how AI-driven simulation technologies have empowered enterprises to enhance productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness in the global market.
Empowering Vietnamese Enterprises and Engineers
The event served as a valuable opportunity for Vietnamese companies to explore cutting-edge simulation technologiesand better understand how AI can be applied in product design, validation, and optimization.
Participants also had the chance to connect directly with international experts, discussing customized technical solutions across key industries such as automotive, mold manufacturing, metal forming, consumer goods, and medical devices.
Importantly, the conference emphasized the role of digital transformation in engineering simulation — a critical factor enabling companies to shorten R&D cycles, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Towards a Smart Simulation Engineering Community in Vietnam
Building on the success of the 2025 conference, Neax and Hexagon reaffirm their commitment to accompanying Vietnamese enterprises on their journey toward AI adoption and digital simulation, contributing to the development of a smart design and manufacturing ecosystem in Vietnam.
Future editions of the conference are expected to expand in scale and scope, featuring new technological themes such as AI generative design, digital twin, and data-driven manufacturing.
